how to get started
« on: April 25, 2006, 07:52:01 AM »

Hi folks!

I want to get started with Yoga, but I don't really have time to take up Yoga classes. I just want to give it a try, because my fitness is getting bad from my full-time office job.

Can anyone recommend a book or something that I can use for a first try?

hi angua,

i'm practicing  yoga at home too since i don't really have time for a yoga class (though i think it's better). i found one book which is perfect for beginners: very easy to read steps and has great pictures.  Book information below...

The Easy Yoga Work Book
by Tara Fraser

have fun!

Actually i want to practice Yoga at home too, but my friend suggests that it would be better to sign in a class for two or three months at the first step. Because we should learn how to breath, which is also very important for practicing Yoga.
