Meals made easy

(NC)—Get out your barbeque tools! Grilling season is back and cookbook author Sandi Richard of Food Network's Fixing Dinner, shares some delicious recipes made with VH sauce that can put that personal touch on any meal. Grilling is a great way to create family favourites for any summer occasion.

Sandi comes to the rescue with the weekly series Fixing Dinner on the Food Network answering dinner-time cries for help. Each episode, Sandi consults with a different family to show them how they can organize their kitchen, their cooking and their lives so that they can have a family dinner every night of the week.

Sandi's Famous Dry Garlic Ribs

Prep Time: 15 minutes Grill Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

2.2 kg or 5 lbs pork side or beef ribs

1 onion

water

1 jar VH Dry Garlic sauce

Instructions:

1. Take out equipment.

2. The night before, boil ribs in a large pot of water. Quarter an onion and add to pot. When water comes to a boil reduce heat to a low boil at medium heat. Let cool then refrigerate over night.

3. Set the grill at medium high heat. Baste a generous amount of VH Dry Garlic rib sauce onto one side of ribs. Grill sauce side down. Baste top, then flip after 2 minutes. Keep basting and flipping until the entire jar is gone.

Serve with a simple salad and grilled garlic bread.

I always get a good chuckle when people want my famous dry garlic rib recipe. These ribs are melt-in-your-mouth delicious. My kids grew up with these and it's still one of their top requests!
