Fun Games for Your Bridal Shower Party

by: Joncarla Domingo Sese

Are you on the hunt for some creative bridal shower games but stumped on ideas? Here are 5 bridal shower games that will surely get your guests rolling with fun and laughter. You may have heard of some of them but they are definitely repeatable and surprisingly fun!

He said, she said

Sit down with the bride and groom and ask their opinions on certain topics. Write the funny or unique quotes from them. At the bridal shower, have the guest guess who said what. You can create lips or mustache cut-outs that guests can hold up, depending on whether they think it was the bride or groom that said the lines, for a fun twist!

Dress the bride

You will be needing rolls of toilet papers for this game. Group your guests into 4 or 5 and have them select a model. Tell the groups they have 5 minutes to dress their model the best possible wedding dress using only rolls of toilet paper and some items inside their purse.

That Wedding Movie

Play a charade with your guests featuring all popular wedding movies. Give each team two minutes to guess what is being acted out.

Down the Memory Lane

Give out sticky notes to each guest and ask them to write down any memory they have of the bride anonymously. It could be anything---sweet, funny and even embarrassing memories. Arrange all the sticky notes on a board and read out each of them. Ask the bride to guess who wrote the note and have her explain the whole story for everyone. What's great about this is game is that you can collect the sticky notes and arrange them in a scrapbook or album as a keepsake.

Bride on the Hot Seat

Prior the bridal shower, interview the groom and ask him questions about his favorites or his love story with the bride: "What's your favorite sport?" "What is your favorite body part of your partner?" Then, at the bridal shower, ask the bride the same questions. It's a great idea to record a video of the groom giving his responses so everyone can see. This can also serve as solid evidence!

There are tons of creative and great bridal shower games to play. Remember, even the most common games can be made fun with a few twists! So, just chill and have a little fun hosting the bridal shower.
